another possible reason for fussiness during breastfeeding...

There are times when my daughter gets extremely agitated while at the breast... and I've found that it is because she has to pee! Apparently she can't/won't do both at once (which is fine with me because if I'm breastfeeding with her semi-undressed I'd rather not worry about being peed on). Simple solution: I hold her in a squat position over a little potty or a cloth diaper; say, "Psst!" a few times; and let her latch on again when she's done. Problem solved!
