Breastfeeding and periods??

My baby is 16 months old and I am still breastfeeding her. She does not drink as much as she used to. I started my period 3 months ago, but I am now almost 2 weeks late. I took 5 pregnancy tests 2 of which showed a faint line and the other was negative.

Is that normal?

If anyone can help with an answer.

Thank you

Pregnancy Tests
by: Elsabe

From what I've learned, a pregnancy test can give a false negative, but never a false positive. It could be that you are just too early in your pregnancy and that those hormones aren't high enough to give a definitive second line. I would recommend waiting a week or two more and testing again. Or otherwise asking your doctor to take a blood test which will be more accurate.

If you are pregnant... a huge congrats!!! (",)
