mom of 8 month old

I have lost all of my pregnancy weight and am actually 10 pounds under my prepregnancy weight of 130.

Recently I have begun to experience some dizziness and a little bit of nausea and am wondering if this could be related to a deficiency in my diet. Any feedback or help would be appreciated.

Post partum weight loss
by: Tracy

Hi!

Congrats on losing your postpartum weight.

Do you know how many calories you are consuming? A great way to keep track is to use a free website like Fitday.com or Sparkpeople.com. On sparkpeople you can track what you are eating and join a group of moms who breastfeed. They will also take all your personal info ( measurements, weight etc.) and tell you exactly how many calories you should be consuming daily and also which vitamins and nutrients are lacking in your diet.

Dizziness and nausea are quite common during breastfeeding and are usually caused by dehydration...read more about nausea while breastfeeding.

If the dizziness and nausea get real bad, I would recommend you see your doc. It could maybe be an iron deficiency.

Hope this helps

Dizziness
by: Anonymous

My baby is 7 months old and I have been having dizziness also. I haven't noticed a direct correlation to it being when I nurse, or afterwards, etc. However, it seem randomly throughout the day. I'm also wondering if it's from nursing. I also seem to be VERY thirst all the time - even more so than normal breastfeeding thirsty.
