New mommy, need help

My daughter is now 2 months old. For the past few weeks she has been pooping only every couple of days, green liquid stools, in large amounts.

She is both breast and formula fed, eating for about 20 minutes on the breast and eating 3-4 oz of formula at a time, usually every 3 hours. She is constantly gassy, but not fussy. She has recently had a cold.

There is just so much misinformation on the net, and her dr said things will get back to normal. Im just wondering what the cause could be.

There is no real "norm" for a baby's poop texture and frequency, especially when breastfed. and if your baby is happy and growing/developing normally, you don't need to worry too much.

I agree with your Dr, your baby's digestive system is developing and changing still.

Gassiness is normal, this usually gets better between four and six months.

What is the reason for the supplementation?
