Fenugreek during pregnancy
by: Tracy

Fenugreek, in medicinal doses (not amounts used in food preparation) are considered to be a uterine stimulant.

Fenugreek is often used as an aid to induce labor, it is an emmenagogue...this is why it is not recommended during pregnancy. (especially late in a pregnancy, unless in labor)
