We absolutely love this product! And this baby co-sleeper is available on Amazon! (Also shipped outside the US)
This product makes it possible to stay in bed and rest, and know that your baby is just an arms-reach away. It makes it so much easier to co-sleep and breastfeed on demand. A co-sleeper bassinet also helps to create healthy sleeping habits, for mom and baby. It’s a definite sleep saver!
The best advantage is that you can relax and know that you won’t accidentally wake baby during the night. I don’t know about you, but I like my space! ;-)
It also gives peace of mind, that if you had to fall asleep while breastfeeding, that your baby will not roll off the bed; he/she will just roll on into the arms-reach sleeper!
Not only is this arms-reach bassinet made for newborns, but later down the road, when your toddler is not feeling well, you can use it to keep him/her close to you. Or if you continue to breastfeed on demand through the night, until the age of 2 or more, that’s also okay!
Some disadvantages of the Arms-reach co-sleeper.
• The mattress is thin. You might need to buy a thicker one. According to personal preference.
• Check that the height of your bed is going to work before purchasing this product. A sleigh bed might not work.
A tip for when using your baby co-sleeper.
Replace the co-sleeper with any side cabinets, instead of having the sleeper lower down. This will help mom, especially if she has had a c-section. It will prevent her from having to strain any muscles when getting out of bed.
Extra advantages of the product.
• It has side pockets for extra storage.
• You can use the arms-reach crib as a playpen when your baby gets bigger.
• It is sturdy and easy to assemble for traveling.
• It can be used for twins!
“We ordered this for our twins before they were born, expecting to have to order a second one a month after, and haven't needed to order a second one! We have had no issues with sagging or anything, the twins have made it move when they cry and kick their legs, but they have never knocked it down. Both our twins fit in it next to each other no problem. Our twins are 7 weeks old, and we don't see any need to replace this until they are in a crib. I would diffidently recommend this to a twin parent over the Graco Pack 'N Play Playard with Twin Bassinet that we originally tried. It is safer and allows our babies to interact with each other (they love talking to each other!)."
