Weaning Foods and Recipes

First Foods and Baby Led Weaning Food Recipes

So you decided on weaning your baby but, what weaning foods can you give? Here is a list of baby first foods and fun recipes for baby food.

First Food for Weaning

Here’s a list of fruit, veggies and other foods that can be given as first foods for weaning.

Remember to introduce these weaning foods slowly, one by one,  starting with more familiar ones and ending with the more “exotic" ones, if your baby doesn’t want a particular food, give it a few days and try it again.

A great tip for fruit that’s slippery like a banana is to roll them in sugar-free crushed cereal or wheat germ.

You can also cut them with a crinkle cutter to make it easier to hold.
